Default Transporting fish respond ASAP

Hello in a few hours i'm going on a 2.5 hour trip. I have to bring 2 goldfish with me. One is 6.5" and one is 4.5". I'm putting them both in a cooler lined with plastic that holds about 2/2.5 gallons with some stress coat in it. Will the fish be okay in this setup?

They should be fine. If you haven't left yet.

I live on the island next to LBI all summer. I don't know the name of this island though although my mom thinks it's barnigate or something. It has the seaside heights boardwalk on it and island beach state park(our "major" landmarks)
