Fish List maybe
I have figured out what I would like to have in my tank. There are several that I know needs to have more than one. But I love a variety. I posted them on my page in an album. Here is the link:

Its a 55g Long. I know the Red Sevrum may not be feasible. But he is pretty... and I figure the old rule of thumb, 1 fish per 5 gs. But the pipe fish is soo thin I figure I wouldn't even need to count him. LOL...

Okay from what I can tell (I had to do some looking up, and some I just know) they are mostly going to be okay with each other.
1. No puffer- that will not work in your tank so get rid of that idea.
2. Angelfish- Great things you will just need to verify they will all get along with each other.
3. I would avoid the severum. It's a bad idea.
4. The gourami's might be okay in that tank, but I would be watchful. In general they don't do well in a tank together. The drawrfs are probably tame enough that in a tank that big it would be okay. I would also look into (ask around) how well they will get along with the angels. If it were me I would choose one. I like all dwarfs
5. Research your school sizes for the rainbow and pipefish- I am pretty sure the pipefish are schoolers but I didn't research it.
6. Nice looking pleco! Should do well in your tank regardless of set up.
You will want to plant this tank and leave many hiding places and break up in line of sight. This will be most important for your angels. I would not get all of the types you listed, pick 2 types and stick with those, a pair each would look nice. I love the white blushing! I have not seen that before. Pretty fishy If you want them all you will just need to take a serious look at the rest of your tank. Angels are shy-ish. You have 4 listed- in pairs that gives you 8 fish alone. They will get cantankerous with each other as with any Cichlid.
Do some research about compatibility with the rainbows as well. Angels and the rainbows might not mesh, but that is just a gut feeling with absolutely no basis in actual knowledge on my part.

Thanks, I have pretty much given the Severum up as it will get huge from what I have read on them. The Blushing Angel is pretty maybe a pair of those and the black veil. I like that one so much. I like the pleco and the puffer is just a cool little fish ya know.. but I can pass on him. The rainbow is not a big one on the list the pipefish I don't know if they can be solitary or not. Will check that out, and I do have several plants in mind, I have never had aquearium plants before so going to try my hand at it. I have alot of rock in my tank but I can pull some of them out. I have counted 4 that don't need to be in there and I can create arches with the rest they have plenty of holes in them so not too worried about that..but will see how they do... I still have plenty of time, my tank is still in the ammonia cycle and the ammonia has reached a whole 2ppm... Its a fishless cycle.

I was wondering if the pleco and the loach would get along as they are both suckers, but I figure how often is the pleco going to be on the bottom feeding. Mostly they are on the glass or the rocks...

They will be on the bottom quite a bit as that is where they will ultimately get most of their food. You will need to make sure you are putting food in there for them, like algae disks and shrimp pellets. Most pleco's will eat more meat than algae as they get older.
I do not know if the hilstream and him will get along. It is an interesting question Hopefully someone here knows. It's a big enough tank that I don't knwo it will be a compatibility issue.
What I do know is that hillstreams have their name because they live in streams. They flare out like that to stay attached to the rocks while the fast flow abounds. They need flow in their tank, and that will not go well with your angels. If you have to chose between the laoch and the pleco- keep the pleco.

4 or 5 angels should be ok..i would forget the hillstream loach as they prefer cooler water....severums can reach 8-9 inches..(in all directions)kinda like havin a dinner plate in your tank..i don't mess with gouramies much so won't say on them..the pipefish are pretty delicate and should be in a species only tank..the thomasi pleco may not exist as it is not listed anywhere on planet catfish...bushynose are kinda cute for being so ugly...i have a bunch....lol....you could also try for something like LDA-33 or L-201 or a host of others....if you go into a shop and find plecos always ask for the
" L " number...if they can't give you the L number i wouldn't buy the fish..actually ; that goes for any kind of fish...if the store cannot give you the correct species name don't buy it...it is common for shops to ignore true identification of their stock and give them their own names..
for a loach try swome sidthimunki or lohachata or even kuhlis...avoid skunk loaches...they are killers..cories are also a great little fish to have..

Ok Lohachata, I found them on live aquaria and also they are on the general int. they may go by another name. But I like the coloration of him and since I have blue background, and black rock and sand I want some color to stand out the fish. The angels are what I and my kids want the rest are touch and go, the pleco is a must, I do have discs for food, that I have held onto for awhile, I don't think they go bad. I would like to have something that offsets the angels I don't like neons or tetras, Mollies are ok though but I do like the dwarf gouramis and they seem to get along with angels from what I have seen. as for flow, I can throw a powerhead in my tank at the bottom and it will create that..used to having that with s.w. I have no air hose, and wondering if that is a must. I have this really cool rock that has tons of holes and they are all connected I can throw an air hose in it and will have tons of air bubbles coming out in all directions. I can throw one of those in there also. I just want to keep my cost down, I have gone from having 2 cords with 12 things plugged in, to 1 cord with 5 things plugged in and rather proud of myself that I got it down to that many things.

not thomasoni according to planetcatfish....Chaetosoma sp. bulldog pleco...rubberlip pleco..
http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog...9&image_id=324
hate to nit pick but proper ID is important..live aquaria is not always so good in the info dept..
and again..the hillstream loaches like temps below 70..
good to see you are being patient even though you are anxious...it will pay off in the long run.

Gotta use scientific names: The pleco is L187b Chaetostoma formosae
Turns out is a rubbernosed "Blonde Bulldog Pleco, Blonde Rubber Pleco, Blonde Rubbernose Pleco, L187b, L444, Striped Bulldog Pleco, Striped Rubber Pleco, Striped Rubbernose Pleco"
Seems it is just a lighter version- knew I thought it was cute for a reason. I love my rubbernose

You might have to do some hunting to find a blonde one, usually they are darker than that. But the darker ones are easily obtained in stores. PetSmart here regularly carries them. If you go for that you will want to make sure they don't sell you a common. They are easy to tell apart, but a clueless worker might not know. Spots on nose, and as juveniles the rubberlips are almost solid down the body, with the scales having an outline. No splotches or designs.
