keep in mind that the shrimp should really be kept separated as they may possibly interbreed....the idea is to have each kind breed true...
my wife is currently keeping a few kinds of shrimp..super tigers , pumpkin , yellow , wasabi and rainbow...

Will your wife want to sell sometime? And yup, I know. I don't care about the interbreeding between them... I plan to buy a dif type of shrimp to actually breed.

When I kept shrimp, I always had an issue with them eating each other... That was ghost shrimp though, do other species do that as well?

many of the species cardina and neocardina live in peaceful harmony and do not even bother their offspring...but just like other animals we never mix species that can interbreed....strain should be kept as pure as possible..

If they interbreed, I'll give them to my cichlids as a treat. SO im not really worried.

Your female orange shrimp looks to be saddled. If you get a male, they should mate. Try to keep the crystal red shrimp in distilled water. Also, try getting a crystal black shrimp of the opposite sex. If you do, you'll get red and blacks. Good luck with your shrimp. Be careful that they don't get eaten.
