Default The case of the missing guppies

For the life of my I can not find 2 guppies that have gone missing. I have looked everywhere, including all the plants and ornaments and filter. I have never noticed any aggression in my fish, so I'd really like to know what has happened to them. They both went missing at the same time.

Here are the details of what I have for a community of fish:

5 tetras
5 platies
2 goldfish
1 gourami

Is it possible that one of these fish ate my guppies?? I have a 26 gallon tank.

mouthsize rule. Goldfish and gouramis are capable of eating guppies

I have a dwarf gourami, and the goldfish I would say are medium sized. Inch and a half long approx.

Is it really possible that my guppies got eaten during the night, with no trace of them afterwards? I could see them getting eaten if they were already dead, but it just seems weird for 2 to go missing or eaten the same night.
