So I was just changing the water on my tank and I saw that one of our Fancy Tailed guppies had babies! We got them all out of the tank and have them in a small little tank. We just took down our 29 and 38G To move those fish into a 55G.. we have our 38G set up again, but the water in it isn't cycyled 😨 What should we do?
Put them in the smaller tank using whatever water you can spare from the main tank. All the good bacteria is held in the filter so throw your main tanks filter on the guppie tank for a while cover the intake with nylon so they don't get sucked into it.
As for food the yolk in a hard boiled egg works well if you have nothing else.

Thanks!
We set up a little 10G tank with some water from the 55G and put them in it for now.. Will baby brine shrimp be good for food for them? We can go pick some up tomorrow if so....
I'm not sure if that's small enough I gues it would work if you crush it up real good, also the fry should be fed 4 times a day. If your going filter less change out 20% water everyday Petco and places like that sell fry food as well.
Anyways good luck with them and congrats on raising some baby fish!
