I have about 150 in my tank right now I had some that were getting pretty big but they got eaten. I have had a friend of mine say he wanted to fry up a few but I wouldn't let him.

Tell you what; if I'm ever in Canada me and your friend are going to have a shrimp fry with fresh shrimp straight out of your tank.

lol which shriimp. I have red cherry shrimp and the biggest one is approaching an inch and a half. I suppose you could batter it in a pill cup and fry it up in a pan from a dollhouse. Those blue crawdads look like they have some mean on them.

unless you get them on your line, then its free game to eat all you want. i love fresh caught fish. salmon from alaska, man i wish i still lived there. so i settle for salmon from lake Michigan.

There is not that much difference between food aquaculture and "ornamental" aquaculture. One is that you are not allowed to eat animals that have ever been treated with any of a long list of effective meds.
