would salt and a temp increase work? I think he'd have the most success with that method. (tablespoon per 10gallons, temp at 86-87, remember to aerate) I think this would be a better method than any kind of med...

sounds good, I already have salt, (aquarium tonic salt)?
would the fish not die with the temp? |

more aeration would be a good idea... I don't know if some of your fish are that sensitive to temperature or not... but I'm sure if you do it slowly and gradually you should be good... the salt will give the guys immediate relief from ich (but add the salt fairly slowly say over 2 days) and the temp will kill the free swimming ich.

i tried the salt and temp thing and didn't have too much luck so i then tried a "stainless med" and kept the temp up and the meds did fine but turned some plants brown and i lost a crab and a botia.

1 glass cat,
1 small polka dot loach, 7 neons, 2 mollies, All somewhat sensitive to ick meds. If the salt and temps dont start working in a day or two. Get a med called malachite green and use it at about 1/2 strength. |
