What should my price be?
As many of you know, I am planning on breeding my imbellis. I have a petstore that wants 12 when I have spawned them. I was trying to think about how much I should sell the fry for, and couldn't decide. What do you guys think? This is a pic of the father.

for fry....about $1.00 each....for an adult about 5 or 6 bucks...but it depends on the market.....nobody pays much for fry.....fry are hard to get rid of in a shop...customers want adult or sub adult fish...
also keep in mind that when you sell to a shop , you become the "wholesaler" which means that you will get paid a fraction(1/5-1/2) of retail..
the problem is that you are counting your chickens before the hens even lay the eggs....
not how it's done....
and are you going to try to sell this shop sick fish ?

When I say the fry, I'm talking about not fry fry but their descendants. I was planning 10 bucks a female and 15 per female as some nice pairs sell for 60 bucks counting shipping. I am counting how many stores are interested so I can know what number of fry I should shoot for.

I think those prics are a bit on the high side, but maybe you'll get lucky with the store. Some stores are willing to pay more than others, but all of them have to make money. I bet it also depends on if there is any demand for the fish at that time.
