Pre cycling filters in a bucket??

I was wondering...If I put 2 filters in a bucket with some small decor items, rocks and such, turn the filters on with a heater, add ammonia, would the filters and items build BB and in a way, cycle?

Then could you use the decor pieces that built the BB and the filters that cycled in the bucket in the previously set up tanks? or would the switch from bucket to tank effect the cycle?

In a sense, it seems like they would be precycled filters?

It would work, but why not set them up on the empty tank right away? This just seems like an extra step to me.

Yes, it works. I do it all the time. The switch has little effect.
