Getting rid of my fish
I love my fish and everything but I would like to start over on my tank. My idea is to turn it into a predator tank. So, anybody have an idea of what I can do with them without purposely killing them. I want to give them the best possible chance for survival.

When I need to rehome fish, I either take them to a LFS that I trust to take good care of them...or give them away on craigslist.

LFS if possible as they will get them re-homed for you. Otherwise ask your parents to set you up on Craigslist with a sale. That's the kind of thing you really do need to go through them with, Craigslist is not necessarily safe. Parents will need to screen.

Wow...glad you caught that. I didn't notice that TU55LER is 13. Absolutely...youngsters should not be venturing off into the land of craigslist on their own.

Thanks guys! I think I'll sell them to a LFS. So, any ideas of how I should stock the tank? I'm thinking of semi-agressive fish.
P.S. does it really matter how old I am?

A safe CL deal is in a public place with a well-armed friend. Hard to pull off if you can't drive yet. There are just enough crooks and pervs out there to be scary. Armed robbery of cash brought to buy an ipad is pretty common here.
40 is still on the small side for aggressive fish. I'd likely fill it with rocks and julidochromis
