Default Pleco food

I use algae wafers and whatever is growing in the tank to nourish my Pleco. Is there anything that I can / should be feeding him in order to supplement his diet? He looks healthy and is active, but just doesn't seem to grow very much.

My clown pleco ate frozen brine shrimp and bloodworms. I meant brine shrimp pellets and spirulina pellets.
