Air Tube/Bubbler PROBLEM
I have an air tube going to a bubbler but the air tube pulls the bubbler up. Are there small plastic corner pieces that fish stores sell to help hide the air tube and make it look better?

I'm assuming a bubbler is an airstone? And if it's pulling up as it bubbles, try cleaning it, Then you can put some suction cups onto your airline. Then re-bury the airline under your gravel. It should keep the tubing from resurfacing. I think I interpreted that question right.

yea i think its an airstone, i didnt know the actual name. When I cover it with gravel the bubbles coming out or the stone move all the gravel and eventually the stone rises out of the gravel

So like I said, use suction cups. Hide the hole behind a plant or two.

He's got it right, the other thing is you might have too powerful of an air pump. Many big box stores have gang valves with volume controls on them.
Suction cup wise, I've yet to have mine under the gravel let loose but the other 9 that are not buried come off every 6 months. In fact I have 6 that need to be reseated right now.

the term is "air diffuser" commonly referred to as an "airstone".......
what i do is take several stainless steel 3/8" nuts and slip them over the airline and then attach the diffuser....keeping the nuts right next to the diffuser i will bury it in the gravel...you can use lead plant weights too if you want.
it is not the airline that causes it to rise ; it is the air itself and there is not enough weight to hold it down...

@blindkiller great info on the gang valve, my air pump does produce a high volume and i never thought that was going to be a bad thing, ill buy a gang valve and see how it works, thanks

Yeah, technically Loha's "air diffuser" trumps all. And yeah, gang valves and that nut trick will work better than suction cups.

if you get a gang valve you may need to bleed off a bit so you don't blow the diaphram with the back pressure you create by closing down the diffuser a bit...

I would get a nice weighted-bottom sponge filter like an ATI and screen it with plants.
The stuff stores sell for this are plastic decor like treasure chests that open and close.
