So im going to be starting a 5g soon for a betta. I have the fluval spec V and I placed the bio bag it comes with inside my cycled tank. Will that be sufficient in seeding it with beneficial bacteria if I leave it there a few weeks?
can only try, if the tank is already cycled maybe wash used filter media and new media together to boost it, its not the water alone, its the crap in the filter that helps
