Angelfish help!

Here he is. Right now he's in a tank that's too small for him though. Could that be why?

as you can see , his dorsal fin is rolled over..that is because he was raised in a tank that was too shallow..and also that he may have been netted when quite young..but i doubt that because usually that cause a sharp bend in the fin because it was broken..
he also appears to have more of a leopard type pattern....
i'm not an angelfish expert ; but i have bred and raised a fair number of them and learned from mistakes...

I added API medication and he seems to be doing a bit better now, less red on him so I'm hoping that the meds will do the trick.
