how long to cycle new filter?

at the moment i have a fuval 206 running in a 190L tank, i have added a fluval 406 with the idea to replace the 206.
how long do yyou think it will be before i can pull the 206?
the only media i can swap and mix is the seachem matrix and bio rings as the filters are bigger in the 406 so they are out of the question.
would you say 4 weeks is safe? has been 1 week at the moment so i recon another 3....
thoughts please?

i think that to seed and cycle the new filter 4 weeks would be plenty...

Yup, more than enough I would say. Especially if you swap the bio rings and keep those.
