Does anyone know what this is? I know it is not normal Von Rio coloration and I don't think it is just that this guy has different colors, though I suppose that is a possibility. More it seems that something is up with this little guys insides. I just got him from a friend. I don't have a QT tank but the tank it came from is a healthy tank. Maybe not though. Sigh.
Von Rio's don't have stripes.
I tried one with the flash but it didn't come out too well.

Well that would explain why it doesn't look like my Von Rios! It is great to know it's normal and not something to worry about, thanks guys!
Of course now instead of having 4 Von Rios's I have 3 Von Rios and a flame- they look close enough like each other that hopefully he will hang with them and not feel too lonely.
Now that he has settled more into the tank and is coloring up it's easier to see it is a coloration issue. He is a pretty little guy
