Hello People,
I have setup my first fish tank(10gallons) ever. I have taken care of setting up nitrogen cycle and have two Platies for 5-6 weeks in it. Both of them are 2 inches long.
Now I wish to add a completely black color fish which is around 2 inches again. I cant seem to find it here in local stores. I live in Redmond, WA. They all have a black molly which can grow to 4 inches. I wish to have a total of 4-5 small fishes in the tank which wont be possible with 4 inch fish.
i think the black molly is the only small all black fish, theres fish which are nearly all black like, black phantom tetra, black skirt molly and the penguin tetra
I agree with Cossie, black mollies are a great fish for a beginner and can be kept in a group of 4 they are also very hardy as they can live in saltwater aquariums as well
