So I moved my fish into the 90 gallon tank after getting them moved i discovered Ich on a few of my wish I am now treating the tank however i just found out I have a small leak someplace in my tank but not sure where... Am I better to wait until my fish are health then disturb them and stress them out again and run the risk of them getting ich again or should I just do the tank now while the have it and get it over with... I will be moving them back to the 55 gallon temporarerly until I can find and fix the leak...

if you crank the heat up the leak may get bigger cos of expansion

Honestly, if you bust a seam Ich is going to be the least of your worries. That's the way I see it at least. Put the fish in a quarantine tank and seal the 90.

That really stinks...I know how excited you were about getting that 90 gallon tank.

I agree with Superfly724. The last thing you want is 90 gallons of water spilling out on your floor. If it was me, I'd move the fish and fix the tank.

if you knew where the leak was you might be able to fix it with the fish and water still in the tank....
but since you don't know i would also suggest you move the fish and tear down the tank and repair it..

Yep. fix the tank. What a headache! This is one of those moments that even the most enthusiastic aquarium lover dreads...sorry.

Thanks the hard part is not matter how hard you try it seems like when you put everything back together you can get it quite the same as before
