Sry this post is more like a OH MY GOSH SO CUTE post than anything else. sorta pointless. but holy craaaaapp~!!!!!

So I got this lil 2 inch bristlenose about 2 days ago, and ever since he(she?) got into my 33 gal, he went straight onto the hole in my large rock and has stayed there, never coming out. Today I decided to drop in a lil algae wafer right infront of the hole, and hid from the tank so he couldn't see me.

the cutest thing happened.

I could see him start moving about in his lil rock crevice, and then he comes out lil by lil, tail first. he does this until he's at the very edge of the rock, mouth still on the rock, but his tail is almost touching the wafer, and then he just suddenly drops down and gobbles onto the whole wafer, kicking my corys to another wafer. ahhhh he's tooo cuuuute!!!!!! i never knew fish could be this cute! AHHHHHHHH. ASLHFAKJHGKJASDBLNSKJFC

you should see how cute it is when 50 or 100 of them descend on their food....especially when they get Plecocaine.....

I have 2 bristolnose plecos and 1 other and when I drop my zuccini in there the suck right to it especially the to bristlenose and they dont give up ther spot for anyone...

LS3F, I totally get it! I got my very first bristlenose a few weeks ago, and I am totaly smitten by her! (She still has no bristles, so I am guessing a girl) I know some people would find it a bit odd at the least, to hear me proclaim a fish as "cute"' but this one has such personality!
BTW, loha is not exaggerating about their reaction to plecocaine...My gal "Smoochie" upped the cute factor by about 20 when I started using plecocaine and lohas algae wafers. She did a little " happy dance", top fin completely erect, and jumped all over it. Aawww!

cking: I totally agree. Plecocaine is in fact the feeding frenzy food for fish. My clown loaches and bristlenose plecos go nuts when I feed them. My clown loaches love the meal worms as well. I think that loha should start a business selling Plecocaine and members here should get 1/2 off the total price.
