Default quick cycle a ten gallon

I need a 10 gallon tank to put some fish in tomorrow. I had called the lps and they told me they had biospira, at lunch I went to pick it up. They only had cycle and stability. Has any one every used either one of these I have only heard bad things about cycle.

Stabilty is the only one (other than biospira) I think Ive heard people here say good thing about.

I don't know if you can get "BioSpira" or "Stability" in Scotland yet, but these make things MUCH easier, with the former making your tank ready in one day, and the latter in a week.
And I think someone mentioned cycle at some time and people hadnt even heard of it. I did use it on mine untill I read 'the bad things' and it didnt seem to speed it up.

Also have a look at this thread http://www.fishforums.com/forum/show...ight=stability

With me I just seed my filter with medium from another one of my tanks, but IME biospira works just as well, apparently this product is the strongest of the range.

If you have a big enough tank with enough hiding places, pH of around 7, you can keep virtually any fish together as long as all the fish are around the same size and these two groups of fish are avioded:
Serrasalmus
Tetradon
(figure eights and dwarfs are the
exception).

I keep a successful community of fish in a 4 foot tank including the following families:
Cichlids, tetras, loaches, gouramis, barbs, rainbows, livebearers, killiefish, catfish, puffers.

Stability is a good second-place contender. Cycle is junk.

Thanks for the information. I guess I will try the stability and old filter media.
