I've never ordered fish from them, but I've had good experiences ordering supplies from them. They are a good company as far as i know with the fish. Shipping isn't too expensive on there either, compared to other sites. I say go for it.

I've ordered from them on several occasions with no complaints.

Like justonemore, i've had good experience with supplies but never ordered fish. Before ordering off the web, try to connnect with local hobbyists. Many of us have stuff you never see in stores.

I got my dwarf puffers from TFP. They are good! The fish were cheap, but the shipping was $29.99.

Which fish ?

Many of the fish they carry can be gotten from local breeders and/or aquarium club members.
Where abouts (approximately) are you located ?

I see few (if any) fish on their site that I could not get within a week from either from my local LFS or from local hobbyists (I'm spoiled by some really good local LFS, however )

Like others above, I've had good luck ordering dry goods from them but have not ordered livestock.
I trust that company, but I generally don't order or buy livestock sight unseen. I like to see a fish in person (and often watch it eat) before I buy it.

If you can't find any other place with a better stock go for it. EXCELLENT customer service. Ordered supplies once, got messed up, and they were really generous and went through it effortlessly.

to find local hobbyists, find a local club (some of them exist only online). Search the web and look in aquarium magazine club listings section. Also join the national org. that specializes in the fish you want. ACA, ALA, AKA etc. most of them have sale lists.

I haven't ordered from them, but I have definitely been there twice. One of the best fish stores I've ever been to with an almost infinite selection of stuff from fish to supplies. I'm rather fond of staring at the fish I can't have. If you can, it's certainly worth going to the store itself since I've seen some fish there not listed on their online ordering.

I don't drive because, well, I don't need to. I've bought all my fish from liveaquaria.com. It's not going to work if you want a couple cheap guys. Shipping is like $30. But quality is great, customer service is awesome, 14 day guarantee. For chem supplies I use petdiscounters.com Pretty awesome as well. Their customer service is first rate.
