Default Brown Alge

Hey i have a big problem with brown alge in my 20g any ideas? i tryed feeding less, i tryed water changes it got worse. Any ideas

that is a nice link fish doc. brown algae is easy to temporarily remove, you just have to scrub.

Is the tank newly set up? water changes may be feeding the algae if you have hard water.

Just keep removing it and it should stop coming back unless you have hard water, or something in the tank causing it.
