Default sharks

i thought there were only salt water sharks except for the bull shark or are red tailed sharks and balas not really sharks but normal fish with cartilage bones since they dont have gill SLITS they have gill flaps

yeah theyre normal fish then theres also the rainbow shark and i think that theres more.

Most of the sharks in freshwater tanks are not even remotely related to actual sharks.

As for actual freshwater sharks, there are only a very small handful, and most of them won't fit in the average tank.
The Bull shark lives in freshwater worldwide, and it's often given a local name, like Zambezi, or Lake Nicaragua Shark. The Golden Hammerhead is found in the Amazon, and it's amazing. That's about it.
