Default Danios: Questions

I've had Danios before and I would love to here some other experiences in keeping them.
Has anyone else found them to be nippy or bug other fish? I really like danios and was thinking of giving it another try depending on your experience with them. They just make the tank busy and lively.

I have 3 zebras in my 10 gallon. They chase the neons, but then I noticed that the neons chase them too. Same with the platies. I think all of my fish chase all of the other fish, but they don't actually bite them, and none seem to be stressed from the activity.

I have 2 Leapords and 3 blue (i think longfined). They do very well, they chase each other but never cause any harm. I had 2 Rams and they never bothered them. The are fine w/ my otos too. They have been a little wilder lately so I'm not sure what thats all about. I've had them for a few months though and they've been great!

I have had a bunch of roseus and choprae for about a year. They are one of my few fish I have never been able to get a clear picture of as they never stop moving. They are active but I have never seen them really bother any other fish.

one of my buddies just added some cardinal tetras to his tank and his danios constantly chase them around the tank...

Wow, that's a long time and you really do get attached to fish, especially if you have had them a long time. I had a betta for 6 years, who knows how old he was where I bought him, but I was really sad when he died. I have another one names Buddy and I've had him for about 1 year.

I think Im going to give it a try. If it doesn’t work out in my tropical tank I have 4 more tanks I can try them in. It's bound to work in one of them. Thanks for your replies! I will let you know how it works out!

I went today and got 6 long finned danios! They didn't have any others besides the regular danios. They are very pretty. They said they will have some others in a week.
