They need to be in a stable environment first and judging by your recent deaths, they may not be in a stable environment. Also, you need more than just 2 for them to breed.....and its harder to breed egg laying fish.
If you have Giant Danios I suggest you return them and get more rasboras. What size tank do you have?

Agreed with Kristen, again. Get. Rid. Of. The. Danios. Get rid of them. Don't flush them, take them to your pet store and tell them, "Here, I don't have adequate room to keep these." Then get more rasboras. I don't know how we can spell this out more plainly to you.

Elvis, listen to Julie. You need a much bigger tank for Giant Danios.
Why do you want to breed fish anyway? What are you going to do with them? If you are serious about wanting to see some breeding action, try livebearers like swordtails or mollies or something similar. |

If you like danios, and you'd like to try breeding something, then get zebra danios instead. They are very easy to breed in a tank that size. Rasboras are considerably trickier.

Microworms, vinegar eels, baby brine shrimp (all live), hard boiled egg yolk - there are alot of good foods for baby fishes, but none are what I'd call super easy and all require more frequent water changes. (please note that I didn't say that any are hard - but they are not even in the same league as feeding flake food etc).
