Default Fish injury

Today at work I found this poor giant danio with its mouth gaping open. There is nothing sharp in the tank or anything to get stuck in. Tankmates are other danios, Buenos Aires tetras, diamond tetras, mollies, platys, and Cory cats. Any ideas what might have happened?

Dang really?! I did not know that. I have so much to learn! They've been together quite awhile with no problems and everyone else is fine. Dang. Poor thing

It's a shame, really. Buenos Aires Tetras are pretty, hardy, easy to keep and probably the easiest Tetra to spawn, but, yes, they are mean and nasty.

I love Buenos aires tetras although they sometimes aggress other fish.
