Unhappy My tank is becoming cloudy!

I noticed yesterday that my 55 gal mbuna tank is starting to cloud up! I tested the water and ph is at 8.0, ammonia and nitrites are at 0 and nitrates were at 60 - I done a 40% water change last night and its still cloudy looking today.. what would cause a tank that has been established for 5 months to become cloudy all of a sudden?? its not a "green" color - its "white"

I usually vaccum out the gravel every two weeks and it was just done last week so there shouldnt be any decaying food. its possible there could be a dead snail in there - shoot, ive never seen them since adding them in..

Now if all else fails, heck do another WC lol.

I've had this happen on some tanks that have been setup for awhile, not a clue why, i just do a slightly larger wc and clears up next day

well, when I tested it today, the ph is down a tad from 8.0 down to 7.6...hmmm, not sure what the cause of that is..
