Default Dojo Loach and #2...

Hope this isn't too distateful but does anyone have Weather Loaches (Dojo Loach)? Have you ever... erm.. well, witnessed them when they "drop a bomb"?

I'm just wondering b/c I had the (mis)fortune of watching while mine began violently shaking and moments later a white cloud exploded around him... he seemed fine immediately afterwards...

... I assume this is just normal but am I feeding them too much zuchini or something?

Hmm, I'm not conviced, I don't think a loach can cause a WCMM to explode, oh well.

If you have a big enough tank with enough hiding places, pH of around 7, you can keep virtually any fish together as long as all the fish are around the same size and these two groups of fish are avioded:
Serrasalmus
Tetradon
(figure eights and dwarfs are the
exception).

I keep a successful community of fish in a 4 foot tank including the following families:
Cichlids, tetras, loaches, gouramis, barbs, rainbows, livebearers, killiefish, catfish, puffers.

I bought two, reading somewhere that they prefer the company. I will say, they are as much fun to watch as I anticipated - and I was very excited about them. I hope your's isn't too lonley by itself now, I do notice mine like to wriggle around each other, but they also enjoy bothering the other fish in my tank.
