Default Left over lettauce.

Well I have left over lettauce in the fridge and I was wondering If my cories would eat it or my silver dolars if i just tucked it under some gravel or should I just not bother I also have guppies and giant danios.

my silver dollars love romane lettuce. they'll eat it up in a heart beat!

None of my fish have een touched it whats wrong with the lettauce is it a different kind?

well, you tell us. is it romane lettuce? im not sure if it matter, but ive only tried feeding my silver dollars romane.

Well iceberg lettuce is probally more popular with Americans than romaine so it might be iceberg it come like a cabbage a round head Where romaine is taller and the lettuce leaves grow straight up and usually a little darker green than iceberg. Maybe that'll help you figure it out.

Fish can be picky. Some fish might eat it, while other fish of the same species may be uninterested.

You could try and soften it up a bit by boiling it up for a couple minutes then letting it cool before putting it in the tank.

My fish like romaine or iceberg lettuce. Your fish just probably aren't familiar with it/used to it so they aren't eating it yet. Just leave it in there for a while and they might eat it. My fish don't usually eat it until it's been in there for a little while and softened up some. Or you could do what fish_doc suggested.

Just my experience, if it makes any difference...
