Default Flourish Excel & Ram

I have been using Excel for three weeks now - full strength (actually a little overdose) - after the initial application of 20 ml (roughtly, not remember the exact amount), I have been adding 5 ml per day (180 litre tank - Juwel Rio). No obvious effect on algae although it seems a little bit better. However, I found that my female ram seems thinner and weaker now. The male seems better. Although I am not sure if this is the Excel, I decided to stop using it to see if this can help my female RAM

Thanks Simpte. It would be better if it is not the Excel because I can continue to use it. I am going to buy some bloodworm and hope to tempt the ram to take more food. just hope this will work.

Rams are sensative to changing PH, temp and Doc levels. Have you done anything recently to the tank?

Not really, except adding Excel.

.... unless we want to blame the instability of Hagen CO2 set up. But it has been in the tank since July or August

A Hagen ladder shouldn't cause a large enough swing in PH to justify that being the problem. I'd start with more waterchanges.
