Hello,
Can anyone provide any information about Green Barred Danios (sometimes referred to as Green Six-Barred Danios)? I just set up a 29 gallon tank and am thinking about getting some of these fish. The scientific name is Barilius Pulchellus or Zacco something I believe - conflicting info on the web. I was unable to find much information on the internet about them. I currently have 6 assorted Rainbows (2 are dwarf Praecox) and 2 Julii Catfish. Would they get along okay or would they nip fins or vice versa? Any help\info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Steven |

generally, they are easy to care for. They are very active and will eat all types of food. They are hardy and will happily spawn if put it the right conditions. Of course, although they are hardy, they still deserve the best conditions you can give them.
To stimulate the best colors, feed a variety of foods, give plenty of swimming space (long tanks are good) and they appreciate a few plants.
