Default 55g stock list (in progress)

ok im still workign on it and researching some fish

2. Geo blue rams. max 4"
6. von rio tetras. max 1"
2. serpae teras. max 2"

(i was gonna leave them out cause they are mean but the little peacefull von rios keep them in check)

6. cories. max 2"

1. pea**** eel. max 16" (but has the bioload of a 4-5 inch fish)

i was considering an upside down catfish or 2 to top it off

nothing major for bioload in fact a bit overboard on bottom dwellers but overfeeding shouldnt be a problem.

I wouldn't say the pea**** eels have a bioload of a 4-5 inch fish they are very active at night when most other fish are asleep, I wouldn't put serpaes in, and add two more von rios.

What size tank is this?

I would skip the serpae unless you get 6 for a school and skip the eel.
Are you judging all this on inches or???

their size is all length

because another fish thier length would be 4 to 6 times as tall and 2 to 3 times as wide.

IE a 6 inch jack dempsey would produce 6 to 8 times more waste an a 6 inch pea****

also considering their dietary habits. pe**** eels eat mostly small worms and not near as much as a jack dempsy of equal length would

no if i were going by the inch per gallon rule i would still have 20 some inches left

i probably will just leave the serpaes where they are at or take them to the lfs

no im judgeing by waste produced and swimming habits along with size , but size as in height width and length

ive never used the inch per gallon rule .

my whole tank will come to between 32 and 38 inches nowhere near 55

lol even in the middle of a word a valid word at that.

still nowhere as bad as oscarfish.com the mods on there are insain

its like a nazi regime. i havent registered there but they seem to have a special "in" crowd of people who are basically there only to agree with the mods or repeat exatly what they said in diffrent wording.

from what ive noticed if you are not in this "in crowd they treat people like trash and are generally mean"
