I bought a Odyssea 32" Blue moon light yesterday on Ebay and had a few questions for the experts that are reading this.
1. Is it harmful to the fish in anyway? 2. Is 32" a good size for a standard 55 gal. tank? 3. Will it disrupt their sleeping patterns? 4. Any personal experience or views on blue lighting at night? Thanks in advance, and have an outstanding day!

#2 48" is standard size for a 55G Tank. You will have some areas not well lit. #3 No #4 Yes, I have them on my Reef Tank in my Orbit fixture. It's nice to be able to see (A Little) at night and see the creatures come out that don't in the daytime.

I use moon light in my zebra pleco tank in the evening or I would hardly ever see them. I switch the light out in the morning for a daylight light bulb (have some live plants in the tank) and change it again in the evening to moon light. But I do turn the lights off when I go to bed. Works well.

Reefneck, why are you really, really sorry? Did I miss something?
One more thing...it says that it is fully submersible but would you recommend actually submerging it or having up at the top just above the water? Thanks

As for the moons, If it says it's submersible you should be fine to do so. Try them both ways and see what is most appealing to you without being too bright for the animals in your tank. Just enough where you can barely see after your eyes adjust to the darkness is all you need. If you get that above the tank, Leave them. If you have to submerse it for that then that should be fine. I use Streetglow Neo-Blue's i convert into aquarium use, just a little re-wiring, i have sent them to friends, and they just absolutely love their color!
I can use a 20" one on my 50g and lights that baby up. I wouldnt recommend using it all night though, as would prolly not let them sleep right as too bright. I'd suggest having it on til u go to bed or for show. That's basically what i do for all my tanks just for show i dont leave them on all night.
