Default how to get aerator to bubble every second

I'm working on a project that I will be using an aerator for and most aerators I've used in the past just continuously blow air out the line. What I want is a way I can make the air bubble out like once every second. would there be like blow off valve or something so that when pressure built up enough it would let a bubble out? Please someone point me in the right direction. btw this is not going to be used in a fish tank. thanks!

There are valves you can buy that restrict airflow a bit, not like wait 6 seconds ones though. Also remember that when you do something like that it builds a lot of back pressure on the pump and it won't run as good and will eventually wear out.

You might be able to get one of those fixtures or toy looking things inside the tank that will release all of the bubbles at once that build up. A popular one i've seen is a treasure chest and the air feeds into the chest. About every second or two enough air pressure builds and the chest opens and once it opens the air escapes and it closes. Is that along the lines of what you are talking about?

Thats the idea. You can get plastic valves. I'll bet that would work.

the treasure chest things definately wont work, it would have to be some type of valve. Like I said, this was for another project, not for fish, so the bubbler wont be working 24/7 so I'm not too worried about it burning out earlier than normal. I'm in the planning stages of building a jukebox and if you've seen old jukeboxes I think you can figure out why I want the bubbler.

You'll have to figure out the connection size, but one of these may work:
