You've been lucky. When i had them in my 55 gallon with the slower moving fish, they picked on everybody at first. Then a few days later they settled down and nobody got hurt. Although everyone new i introduced into the tank was always picked on.

However... when i moved the serpaes into my 29 gallon with other fast moving fish the serpaes didn't pick on anyone anymore. The other fish are larger than then, and some are quicker, so i guess they are afraid to. They've been in there a few days now, closer to a week. Dont see anything unusual yet. (going to keep my fingers crossed).

my serps dont bother any fish in my planted community. they school around with each other but have never picked on any fish in my tank, including the gouramis. its hit or miss i guess.
