Default leaf fish

i think it was an amazon leaf, it was at petsmart, but i was wondering if it would be compatible with 5 blue tetras, a gold gourami, and some cory's? and whats its max size? petsmart said 4 or 5 inches. but id rather ask and be sure.

Leveldrummer I know both of the petsmarts on my side of town have in last 3 weeks or so started carrying African Leaf Fish. Is that what you saw there?

African Leaf Fish

There are several kinds of leaf fish I think. I know I saw one at a LFS that had a much different look to it. I think what they had was a South American Leaf Fish

If you do end up getting one, please keep us posted They are really a cool looking fish. I got all googoo eyed over them.

oh man, leaf fish are really cool! I do know that if its an SA Leaf Fish they are pretty territorial and are supposed to kept with thier own kind. They like a ph of around 6.5 and real slow moving water.

I almost bought some. They had them in with dwarf puffers at my Petsmart and I have room left in my puffer tank, luckily I remembered too that they can open up their mouth almost like a snake can unhinge theirs. Only fish their own adult size would be safe in the long run.
