how long have you had the shrimp? thier is no way a snail is going to attack or eat a healthy shrimp of anykind. the shrimp must be having some problem and the snails are simply cleaning up.

i had the shrimp for a couple months and there was nothing wrong with him. He had just molted for the second time last week, along with everything else in the tank (my anemone crab and my other cleaner shrimp did so a couple days after the skunk shrimp)

because I watched them tear it in two and then eat the insides out, now his exoskeleton is in pieces at the bottom of my tank and the clowns are playing with the remainder of the tail.

Never heard of a healthy shrimp being attacked and eaten alive by a bunch of slow moving piles of goo lol. He either had a bad molt and was very weak or possibly osmoregulatory shock.
