Default cheaper live rock, more commonly seen in big cities

Go find a forum that hosts your local reef club and ask for live rock, the normal price is around 3 american dollars a pound, and this is for live rock that is almost 100% pest free and probably covered in corraline algae. Plus being second hand rock you are not taking more and more from the environment so this rock can still be considered environmentally friendly. Just check out a forum for your local reef club and look for some lr. 3.00 a pound is great, ive seen prices as low as 1 dollar a pound.

I got 100 lbs of live rock for $30 through my local club. Some guy was tearing down his tank and one of the members of the club was helping him. She spread the word to the club and....there ya go.

Seriously, you can find all sorts of awesome deals through your local clubs....not just liverock.
