Default My new zoas

All params are at 0 except nitrate which is at 5, i dont worry about it, chaeto may bring it down

I bought some zoas watch them open (they were fully open within an hour of being in the tank), i got these for 20 dollars:

They came from a T5 HO tank. The rock carried a few copepods and mysid shrimp. I have 4 layers of flyscreen on the top of my tank and the coral is at the very bottom.

why are they on the bottom? why the fly screen? t5's put out some serious light, i wouldnt shade those unless your running 400w+ mh's, they will adjust to the light fine, many people really underestimate t5's

I have my zoas under 500 watt of mh and another 180 wats of pcs. So i have close to 700 watts of light for my 75 gallon. I wouldn't worry about to much light for them. nice buy by the way!

They were at the bottom so i could see them easier since they are near the glass for the first few days. Flyscreen is there for my ricordeas who came out of the very bottom of a PC lit tank.

Id like to stay safe rather than sorry.

Im also planning where to put them in my tank, and why cant they be at the bottom?

the screen makes more sense now, i thought you were putting the zoa's on the bottom, and planning on moving up to acclimate them to the light, but the rics should be acclimated, so forget my previous post lol.
