Default Lighting

Heys guys for my 75g I have a HO T5 atm with 2 10k whites and 2 460nm blues aq. I was looking today and saw I could replace the whites with 12k ones instead. Was wondering if for the corals I should do that? also is 460nm good or should I dare try a 10k reef blue light?(Dont think I should as I think the reef blue would be just to replace the whites if I remember right) Let me know.

If it isnt broke, dont fix it. Changing lighting can have adverse effects on corals and can take months to recouperate.

changing the 10k to 12 k should be fine, it will just make the tank look bluer, depending on how old the bulbs are, you will probably have an increase in par with the new bulbs, but i dont think it would have a adverse affect on any corals.

your corals will be a bit more colorful with that spectrum but growth will be slowed a bit.

oh and it matters who made the bulbs too... different companies = different colored bulbs with a certain K rating.
