Default My crazy clown

This weekend i went to check on the fish and i noticed that my female clown was missing. After looking in the tank for a while i thought i had lost her. I checked the water just to make sure all is well because the day before my condi anemone decided to sit right on top of a monti cap which caused some issues with my other sps. Anyways all looked good and so i went on doing my daily task. As i started to top off the tank by putting fresh ro/di water into the sump i saw her! She must have jumped my overflow, took a ride down the 1 1/4 inch tubing at 600gph, and survived hitting the bottom of the tank. I couldn't believe it. So i turned off the pump and skimmer and i tried t get her but she was smart and stayed between the baffles. After about 20 minutes i was finally able to catch her in the net and put her back up in the main display. That is one crazy clown

LOL!

I've heard so many stories about fish "magically" appearing in the sump or getting stuck in the overflows. I can't imagine going through a water slide like that.

Yesterday at work, I looked into the sump of our 120 large african tank, and found a little, 2-3 inch zebra...but it's wierd, because all the africans in that tank are 5+ inches, so my only guess is that some fish spawned and the little guy got sucked into the overflow...lol
