Random starfish. Not a clue! HELP!!!

It's not as dramatic as the title makes it sound, anywho, had a starfish delivered at work today as a gold tip but it has no golden tips and has 8 arms, it's brownish grey in colour and seams happy in our system. any ideas of what it could be? As can't find any info into what it is and cant really sell it/keep it if we dont kno what it is. Haven't got any pics but I will try and post one of it later if that helps.

Eight arms makes me think something like a sunstar. Or how about luidia aspera? Obviously, a picture would be very helpful.
