Books
Has anyone read or does anyone know of any good books that would help understand all of what is going on in a saltwater tank. I know what is needed to be successful and have most of it going already but I want to just understand it all better.... And maybe some good magazines to subscribe to???
Thanks!!!

The New Marine Aquarium by Mike Paletta is also pretty good for beginners.
Beginner to Breeder by Martin Moe - There is more to this title but that's the part you'll find it by the easiest.
Once you get more advanced, look for Delbeek & Sprung's Reef Aquarium books 1,2 & 3 & Sprung's Reef Notes books 1-4.
The two books previously mentioned by Fishfirst are the big grandaddys of them all, and pretty much required reading.
FAMA = Freshwater And Marine Aquarium magazine.
Most of the other available magazines are either too lame or too advanced to be any real help to you. FAMA is pretty much perfect, even though it's only 1/3 the size it used to be.

saltwater aquarium for dummies by gregory skomal is a good one that explains everything in clear english. despite the title its very detailed and not just for "dummies". plus if you have a library most lbraries have the series.
