well, i alot can go on when you breed them. its pretty easy compared to other fish, but you still need to know your stuff. first ready around and get a general knowledge. then set up that other tank and get it cycled. Finally you have to make sure the fish have good chemestry

What you do is....
Get a divided tank. Place the females on one side and the male on the other, this way they can see eachother and THAT is it... When the male starts building a bubble nest this is when you know he is ready to start breeding, if your fish are sharing water this will make breeding easier because the females release hormones into the water... Then place the females in with the male and WATCH! They will either breed or rip each other to peices. Good luck! |
