What are your tank parameters? (size, temp, ph, equipment, other tankmates, landscape) This is a schooling species and your success in breeding is greatly increased if there is a higher ratio of females to males. Are you attempting to breed them in a community tank or do you have a special breeding tank ready for them after you have conditioned the male and female with high quality flake food, frozen or live brine shrimp and blood worms? Ph is 6.5 and size is a 5 gallon. High quality foods have been fed to them. Bloodworms, Brine shrimp (frozen) and Omega 3 flakes. No direct lighting and tank is surrounded by cardboard. Only 2 Flames are in there I moved them from a tank with 2 other flames and 7 neon tetras. They seemed to be courting eachother but no eggs. I had to leave at 7:00 AM for school this morning.
