Smile New!

Hello! Am now the proud owner of a Tropical fishtank containing a multitude of guppies, three shrimps, a sucking loach and zebra loach. My boyfreind originally got them about 2 1/2 years ago whilst living with his ex. when they split, she moved to the states and he moved into shared accomodation, meaning neither of them could tank the fish. so a mutual freind agree to take them. But two weeks ago we moved them into our flat and they seem to be doing fine. Well kind of. Three days after the move and a day after some new plants were added we lost half the guppy population. As it was mostly the big and probably pregnant females we put it down to stress of the move and chris having his hands in the tank whilst adding the plants. But now the sucking loach is showing strange behaviour.

But apart from that, we are very much enjoying having the fish in our home, they are wonderful to just sit and watch. The next step is to place an ad somewhere to give away some of the guppies (we are thinking of having an all male population).

Anyway, pleased to meet you all,

Suse
