Default hello

hi, my names kim. i'm 22 and i'm kinda new to the fish world. i had a 10 gallon when i was younger but i don't remember a whole lot about it. my fiance is really into fish and now he's got me hooked. right now we have a freshwater tank thats 29 gallons. we have 2 plecos, 1 medium, 1 large, then we have 1 roseline shark, 3 glolite danios (also called glofish), 2 giant danios, 2 red dwarf gouramis, 1 dwarf gourami, 3 cardinals, 2 neons, 3 rummynose, 3 harlequin rasboras, 3 glolite tetras, and 3 red eye tetras. they are all pretty happy fish...especially the gouramis, they spit at us when we feed them. it scared me the first time but its pretty cute. we are in the process of getting a 90 gallon so i'm pretty excited about that. not real sure what were gonna put in it yet except our large pleco...he's kinda big for the 29 already, he's about 13.5 inches. well im so glad i found this forum, i've learned alot already, so thanks for being here and its nice to meet everybody!!!

welcome...have you considered moving all your fish into the 90? I would personally move them into the larger tank and than add more fish if feasable..post pics if you are able to. i'd love to see the gouramis and your shark

Welcome to the site!

I'm glad you are getting a bigger tank. That pleco is a big boy! He may eventually need an even bigger tank than that....

I'd atleast move the plecos and the Roseline shark to the new tank...and get more Roselines. Also, you may want to move a few of your schooling fish groups and add more....you'll have room to get atleast 8 of each type if you move some of the schools.

Its so exciting getting a new tank! Good luck!
