New to the forum.

Hi everyone. I am an old guy. Been keeping fish for a long time but new to this forum. I joined the Atlanta Club two weeks ago, at the Expo. Had a great time and got some really neat stuff at the auction. My interest's are mostly central and south American cichlids altho I have other stuff too. I have a fish room with 28 aquariums ( almost 1000 gal. of water). My pet pieve is fish shops that sell fish to new folks without educating them. The almighty dollar!!!! They sell to many fish or incompatable fish or ( worst of all ) they do not explain the nitrogen cycle. The fish die and folks put the aquariums in the basement. We need all the new people we can get in this hobby. Seems that the fish shop owners would be the first to understand that. Thanks for having me here and thank's to Mark for hosting this site....

You wil find many here with the same attitude towards pet stores as you. You found a group that you should fit in well with. I have been in the hobby for over 10 years and also have a room full of tanks.
