Default Hello everybody

Hello everyone. I am new to the world of aquarists but home to become more knowledgeable and help give some fishes a nice good home .

I have been interested in fish my entire life, but unfortunately never took the time to read up on them and actually have them except for a few goldfish and betas - which I have since discovered passed on due to my own ignorance in taking care of aquariums .

I have a 10 gallon aquarium, though I have not set it up since I moved into a new home as it has been packed away since I lost my last beta . I have been reading books and this site and have learned a lot already and am planning on purchasing a new 50+ gal aquarium for tropical freshwater fish. Though I have not purchased nor will until I have learned as much as I can in setting up tanks, etc.

I am a web application developer as well and actually am planning on a nice tool for myself for maintaining logs and such on my fish, but once it is done I will publish a link for others to use.

If you want to know anything more about me, feel free to ask!
