Default Finally got around to introducing myself.

Hi, I've been on this board for years and I realize I've never done the introduction thing.

My name is Elaine and I live outside Atlanta, GA. I went to my first ACA convention with my parents (I was 12) in 1980 in Chicago. We had Malawi Mbuna and Peac0cks. My idea of teenage rebellion was to join ALA and raise guppies and goodieds (butterfly, rainbow, and red-tail). Eventually had to admit that I am a cichlidophile at heart, but I still have a soft spot for hi-fin, lyretail swords. I don't have any big fish, although I have eight 4ft long tanks, I don't have any larger than 55g. I still have Mbuna (M. lombardoi, P. Saulosi, P. Demasoni, L. Caeruleus) and goodieds (Ameca, Ilydon). I also have angels, apistos, N. Lelupi, Laetacara, & Hemichromis.

I'm just now learning about plants and killies (got austales and gardneri at last auction) and trying to raise live food.

Please forgive my occasional smart-aleck and/or badly spelled post, I have a habit of hitting the board in the wee hours when I can't sleep.

Also please forgive me for taking so long to introduce myself

You have always been welcome, but I'll welcome you now in your intro post. I'm always glad to see your input in threads and I hope you'll stick around for many more years.
